Cancellations and refunds

Refund policy

How VersionFixer purchases, subscriptions, failed conversions, cancellations, and refund requests are handled.

Last updated: 24 August 2026. Use the receipt or subscription link from the provider that processed the purchase to cancel or request a refund.
Seller and Merchant of Record

VersionFixer is operated by Sherif Ahmed Ibrahim Saeed from Giza, Egypt. For a purchase completed through a third-party checkout, the provider identified at checkout and on the receipt (for example Paddle or FastSpring, when offered) handles payment collection and related billing records. Where that provider is the Merchant of Record, it also handles the applicable tax, receipt, cancellation, chargeback, and approved-refund process. Paddle Seller ID: 404790 applies to Paddle purchases.

Failed conversions

A failed or unsupported conversion is not a successful delivery. VersionFixer credits should not be permanently charged for a failed job. Contact support with the job ID if credits were deducted incorrectly.

General refund rule

Except where applicable law or mandatory consumer rights require otherwise, completed digital-service transactions are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable after the service or credits have been used.

Refund requests

Refund requests are reviewed under the policy and process of the provider shown on the receipt, together with applicable consumer law. Any stated review period is not a guarantee of approval; statutory periods may differ by country.

Faulty or undelivered service

If the paid service is materially not as described, faulty, or not delivered because of a verified technical problem, contact support promptly. Where the checkout provider processed the purchase, the replacement or approved refund follows that provider’s process.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically for the period shown at checkout until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period; it does not automatically refund an elapsed or used period.

How to cancel

Use the subscription-management or receipt link in the confirmation email from the checkout provider, or contact admin@versionfixer.com with the account email and transaction reference.

How to request a refund

Use the receipt, billing, or support link from the provider that processed the transaction. You may also contact admin@versionfixer.com with the account email and transaction reference so we can investigate delivery or credit issues.

Refund effects

An approved refund may remove the related credits, plan access, downloads, or subscription entitlement. Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method where possible.

Mandatory rights

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights. If local law grants stronger cancellation, withdrawal, repair, replacement, or refund rights, those rights apply.

Purchase support

Use the receipt link or subscription-management link from the provider that processed your payment. For Paddle purchases, Paddle is the Merchant of Record; for FastSpring purchases, follow the FastSpring process shown on the receipt or checkout.

VersionFixer technical support

Email admin@versionfixer.com with the account email, transaction reference, and conversion job ID so we can verify failed delivery or an incorrect credit charge.

Decision and timing

Refund eligibility is evaluated under the receipt provider’s process and applicable consumer law. Discretionary requests are reviewed case by case and are not automatically approved.

Frequently asked questions

Does a failed conversion use credits?

A failed or unsupported job should not be permanently charged as a successful conversion. Contact support if your balance is incorrect.

Does cancellation refund the current period?

Not automatically. Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal. Refund eligibility for the current payment depends on usage, the reason, the provider’s policy, and mandatory local law.

Where do I request a refund?

Open the receipt or confirmation email from the provider that processed your payment, then use its billing, subscription, or support link. You can also contact VersionFixer support with the transaction reference.
