We may collect account and contact details, language and cookie preferences, uploaded files, conversion metadata, job status, support messages, IP address, browser and security logs, plan, credits, and checkout references.
Uploaded files are used only to detect type, create and troubleshoot the requested conversion job, and deliver the converted result.
Customers keep all rights to uploaded source files and generated output files. VersionFixer does not claim ownership, resale rights, or training rights over file content.
Uploaded file content is not sold, licensed to third parties, or used to train models.
We process data to perform the service contract, operate accounts and conversions, deliver downloads, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, secure the platform, comply with law, and improve reliability. Consent is used where applicable for optional cookies or marketing.
Source files, temporary work files, logs, and generated outputs are stored in isolated job folders and scheduled for deletion after the configured short retention window. If an automatic conversion fails, the source may be retained in private support storage for up to seven days solely for a manual review initiated for that job. Limited records may be kept longer for support, security, billing, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal duties.
Lemon Squeezy, identified at checkout and on the receipt, independently processes buyer, billing, tax, fraud, and payment data as the Merchant of Record. It handles collection and tax obligations. VersionFixer receives transaction and subscription references and does not store full card numbers, CVC codes, or payment-account credentials.
Hosting, infrastructure, email, analytics, security, and conversion-worker providers may process only the data required to operate and protect the service. Data may be processed internationally with safeguards required by applicable law.
Necessary cookies may be used for login, security, language, checkout sessions, and abuse protection. Optional analytics or marketing cookies should be used only with consent where required.
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and may complain to a competent data-protection authority.
VersionFixer is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
We use HTTPS, access controls, isolated job storage, validation, and monitoring. No online service is risk-free. Send privacy or deletion requests from your account email to admin@versionfixer.com.
Retention
Temporary conversion folders are eligible for cleanup after 30 minutes. A failed conversion placed into private manual review may retain its source file for up to seven days solely for that review. Account, transaction, support, security, and fraud-prevention records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary or legally required.
Payment-provider privacy
Lemon Squeezy independently processes buyer and payment data as the provider shown at checkout. Review the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy and the Buyer Terms linked on this page or shown at checkout.
Requests and complaints
Email admin@versionfixer.com from the address linked to your account. We may verify identity before fulfilling a request. Provider-specific payment-data requests should also be sent through the provider shown on the receipt.
Frequently asked questions
Do you use uploads to train models?
No. Uploaded files are used for the requested conversion and compatibility workflow only.
Does VersionFixer store card numbers?
No. The payment provider shown at checkout processes payment credentials. VersionFixer stores only the references needed to activate and support the purchase.
Can a user ask for deletion?
Yes. Use admin@versionfixer.com or the data-deletion page. Some transaction or security records may be retained where law or fraud prevention requires it.
VersionFixer Shield and IMVU link scans
When you register protection, we retain your account and job identifiers, an optional IMVU product ID, timestamp, asset counts, and cryptographic fingerprints for mesh geometry, UV layout, skin weights, skeleton, animation, and textures. Public certificates expose only the proof ID, optional product ID, fingerprint, method, counts, and timestamp. They never expose reusable geometry or texture files. Public IMVU assets fetched for an authorized link scan are deleted immediately after hashing; the product ID and scan result may remain in your account history.
