Service rules

Terms of service

The operating terms for using VersionFixer conversion, account, and API services.

These terms are written for launch clarity: own the files you upload, do not abuse workers, and understand that proprietary conversions may need review.
Your responsibility

Upload only files you own or are authorized to process.

Customer content

You retain ownership of your uploaded files and outputs. VersionFixer processes them only to provide conversion, compatibility, support, billing, and security functions.

Conversion quality

Some proprietary formats depend on licensed desktop workers and may require manual review.

Forbidden uploads

Malware, stolen data, illegal content, and attempts to abuse the service are not allowed.

Payments

Paid plans, credits, and one-time conversions are delivered after successful checkout confirmation.

Availability

The service may queue, pause, or retry jobs when workers are busy, offline, or awaiting licenses.

API use

API users must protect their API keys and may not resell capacity without written approval.

Allowed use

Use VersionFixer for files you own, manage for a client, or are authorized to convert for design, print, engineering or production workflows.

Conversion limits

Some proprietary formats depend on installed licensed software, plugins and worker availability. A job can queue, fail or require manual review.

Refund handling

Failed paid conversions should be reviewed through support with the job ID, file type and target version.

API responsibility

API users must protect tokens, avoid abusive traffic and keep customer files inside allowed workflows.

Launch FAQ

Is every conversion guaranteed?

No. VersionFixer improves compatibility, but complex proprietary files, missing plugins or corrupt sources can fail.

Can I upload client files?

Yes, only when you have permission to process them.

What happens when a worker is offline?

The job can wait in queue, move to manual review, or fail with a clear support message.
